IDsec is an independent consultancy and product reseller
specialising in network security. Formed in 1997, it has a wide
range of blue-chip clients in the telecommunications, financial,
manufacturing and utility sectors.

It is an accredited partner of a number of security product
vendors, including IBM and RSA.

* The Job

We need a Sales Executive to take on responsibility for:

- finding and developing new client relationships

- building the relationship with existing clients

- representing the company across the UK, mainly in the South-East

- maintaining relationships with our suppliers

The main activities will be:

- tracking relevant companies and projects

- introducing IDsec

- keeping contact by visits and calls

- following up incoming enquiries

- preparing bids and proposals

- driving the successful completion of the sales cycle

- reporting on progress and opportunities

* The Person

To carry out this work, successful candidates must have relevant
sales experience with a proven track record of meeting targets.

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team: customer
handling expertise alone is not enough.

On the other hand, successful candidates will be expected to take
on responsibility and work for extended periods without direct
supervision, as they will be measured on results.

We also value a background in IT security and network, and any
experience of the products offered by IBM and RSA would be of
particular interest.
